This is a very nice cocktail strainer, but I do have a couple of problems with it,1. The spring is very loose which lets a good deal of Ice shards through2. They need to spend a little more time on the deburring wheel, the edges on mine at least are still rather sharp3. It fits almost too tightly on a pint glass and even tighter on my mixing glass, making it difficult/slow to strain thicker drinksOther than that it functions well, it fits on a standard shaker tin securely and sits on top nicely and does its job like it should.Great little strainer for the price. While the spring's coil is a little loose/wide and the rubber grip has a tendency to fall out, it does the job well for $6. I keep a couple of these in my bag as backups or loaners, and use higher quality hawthornes for my day-to-day stuff.I purchased the OXO strainer a week prior for the bar at work, and my only problem with it was that it did not fit securely on my shakers due to a smaller spring.Since we needed more strainers, I decided to order the Bonny after reading a prior review stating that the spring was much larger and sturdier. This is easily the reason why the Bonny is better than the OXO, let alone its cheaper.Bonny is the same exact design as the OXO, with the exception of the larger spring. Strains exceptionally well. Buy the Bonny if you want a hawthorne that is better than the cheaper, standard ones.Works well enough and I get no leaks. The top is aluminum, not stainless steel and still gets very cold. I never feel comfortable shaking it unless I hold the cap on with one finger. The cap gets as freezing cold as the rest of the top, but since the strainer is below it, it does not get shaken ice thrown against it.Great strainer. I wash it by hand, but I'm sure it would be fine in the dishwasher as well. The spring is tight and it strains everything but tiny citrus seeds very well (in those cases, I double strain). I like that it has a short tab instead of the long, cumbersome handle. The machining isn't perfect- the strainer cutouts are a tiny bit rough, and are probably the first place that I'll see rust- but for the price, excellent.The Bonny Bar Cocktail Shaker is great. We had an insulated shaker that was a little larger from another company and really liked it, but were looking for one that was smaller for our RV. The Bonny Bar Cocktail Shaker works as well and fits the cabinet shelf in our RV kitchen. The nice thing about this shaker is that it does not sweat and drip even in high humidity.It works for keeping out the big chunks of ice. The spring gets a tad loose, but I really like the little black finger tab because I'm a weenie and my hands get really cold, and that provides a nice grip spot.Great individual shaker.Super rapport qualité prix,livraison gratuite.Ce type est assez dur à trouver en magasin,le manche plus court que les classiques passoires donne de l'aisance et une bonne prise en main lorsqu'on est pressé.De plus elle est légèrement plus large et se cale mieux dans un boston classique ou tout autre type de shaker d'ailleurs.C'est la deuxième que je commande.
